Go along the national road from Unterradein towards Oberradein and after about 400 m, turn off left at a bend (signpost: 'K-8Folser'). Take the right-hand fork immediately before Lourdes-Kirchlein (small church) and, staying on the right, take the forest path 'Bletterbach' (signpost 8-Weissenstein), that leads into the wood. The forest path becomes a path through the woods and because of sharp pointed stones the journey becomes more difficult. You will now reach the valley of Bletterbach. Continue on route '8' with the white-red marking. Take the left-hand fork and continue down the path partially obstructed by large lumps of rock. Go on to the ruin of an old mill. Now the first ascent begins. You will have to cover it partly on foot and partly on your bike. Temporarily leave route '8' at the next right-hand bend. You will reach a crossing. Continue straight on the track skirting a meadow and climb steeply between fences up to Unichhof at 1340 m above sea level. Continue on a tarmac path and a little higher up turn right at Stürzhof to reach the road leading from Aldein to Schmiederalm (holy image). Continue on the right for about 100 m and at another holy image turn left into a steep tarmac road with a white-red signpost for 'Schmiederalm'. Now continue on this pleasantly smooth section avoiding the forest road 'Kalkofen' on the left, until you reach the tarmac road again. Turn left and climb up to Schmiederalm at 1674 m above sea level and continue on until you reach Schönrastalm. After the fence the path branches out, but both branches lead to the forest path on which you continue on the right to reach the crossing in Kösertal at 1695m. Now follow the signpost '9-Aurer-Leger' to the left. The path rises further slightly and you will get a good view of the place of pilgrimage and the plateau of Deutschnofen.
Turn right at Neuhütt 1791 m above sea level and continue in the direction Aurer-Leger. After the alpine pasture you reach the national road and a few minutes later on the right Jochgrimm. From there continue until you reach the path 'Gurndin' and then in a hollow the alpine pasture 'Corradini'. Continue downhill to the barrier. Do not take the right turn for 'Prati di lana', but shortly after this turn right at the signpost for Zirmerhof. Go straight ahead alongside the wooden fences until you reach the forest path 'Thomaser Moos', continue on it on the right for a few metres and then turn left to start the descent. Turn right at a wooden gate to descend into the hollow of 'Zirmerhof'. The last descent across the meadow begins after the wooden gate. After the signpost for 'Wastlberg', follow the marked route '9', cross another gate and then make a steep descent into thick forest. After crossing the national road, you will complete the last section that leads to 'Trogerhof' and then on to Radein.
