Das Wandergebiet in den Dolomiten
Castelfeder is Tyrol's Arcadia. At least this is what the artists of the Romantic period called the hilltop near Auer in the South Tyrol lowlands. In fact there many historical and pre-historical things to discover.
In Greek mythology Arcadia was glorified as the place of the golden age where people lived in a fabulous countryside as satisfied and happy shepherds unencumbered by hard work and pressure to adapt socially. The habitat of Castelfeder offers holiday-makers and locals a recreation area in the immediate vicinity with lots of nature, peace and time for reflection.
You should take some time to get to know this area by taking a walk along the paths and over the meadows and delight in the beautiful flora and fauna.
