For one thing there are many paths in the valley through well-cared for orchards and vineyards, along the banks of Lake Kaltern or on the gentle slopes of the Reggelberg. There are also footpaths from one municipality to the next or on Castelfeder. You can go on the Albrecht- Dürer-Walk taking you from Neumarkt via Buchholz into the Cembra valley. The walk through the ravine and round the "Geoparc Bletterbach" is a journey through millions of years of the history of the earth. Those who want to climb higher can use the well-marked trails in the Trudner Horn Nature Park, on the green alpine pastures or at the foot of Weiß and Schwarzhorn.
