The tourism authorities at Eppan (telephone 0471 662206), Kaltern (telephone 0471 963169) and Leifers (telephone 0471 950420) can issue you with the licence you need to go fishing. You are allowed to fish in Kalterer See in Kaltern, in the Großen and Kleinen Montiggler lakes in Eppan, in Fennersee in Kurtatsch/Fennberg, in Großen Graben im Unterland (in the lowlands) and in Brantenbach in Leifers as well as in the river Etsch.
